Why this role exists
Storefronts on Amazon, Etsy and Walmart move physical goods every day: purchases, transfers between locations, stock counts, receivables and payables. This role keeps those records accurate and posted so the General Accountant and leadership always work from current numbers.
What you'll do
- Prepare and report daily revenue, cash, receivables/payables and cash in/out
- Control goods receipt, stock transfers and stock counts across project systems
- Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Prepare, print and post accounting documents into the accounting software
- Perform other tasks assigned by the Chief Accountant and the Board of Management when required
You'll fit right in if you
- Have 2-3 years of experience in an equivalent position
- Are proficient in Excel, Word and accounting software such as Fast or Misa
- Are careful with numbers and honest about mistakes
- Are ambitious and eager to learn; willing to support colleagues when needed; cooperative and open about work challenges with the team
- Communicate clearly and keep deadlines under month-end pressure
